I've warned everyone who reads my posts...of the impending doom going on in California on
numerous occasions. Well...this just in...California isn't the worst. No! Evidently, other states are lining up for that ignominious distinction. Like...
New York for instance.
If ever there was an example of the very real consequences of the idiocy in the State Senate, it was in New York City on Wednesday. The state senators’ failure to extend mayoral control of city schools had officials scrambling to figure out how to restore the old, failed Board of Education. And the Senate’s refusal to pass a sales tax increase is expected to cost the city $60 million in July alone. So begins an opinion piece in the
New York Times today. But let's cut to the meat of the matter...there is a
CLEAR COMMON thread that runs through every one of these failures. Yes... and it's called
GOVERNMENT....and we have failure at every level. Yes.......albeit be city (see New Orleans), state (see New York, California, and Illinois), or federal (see
FEMA,
SEC, and
DHS).
And liberals and Democrats want more government? You really have to be
out of your mind...to want that.
But then again, I'm not a liberal.
